The Site is an interactive website offered by the Digestive Health Alliance ("DHA"). As used in these Terms of Use, the terms "we", "us", and "our" refer to DHA.
The Digestive Health Alliance is the grassroots arm of the International Foundation for Functional Gastrointestinal Disorders ("IFFGD"). IFFGD is a Wisconsin nonstock, nonprofit organization designated under the U.S. IRS code 501(c)(3). We are dedicated to informing, assisting, and supporting people affected by gastrointestinal disorders. The Digestive Health Alliance is organized as an LLC that is managed by IFFGD.
DHA grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to access and use the information, documents, text, images, software, and other publicly available content on the Site ("Content") solely in accordance with these Terms of Use. Subject to these Terms of Use, you may view, download, and print the Content solely for your noncommercial and informational use.
By using this site to organize, coordinate, and/or host a fundraising, awareness, or advocacy campaign or event for IFFGD/DHA, you agree as a condition to such use not to sue and to fully and completely release IFFGD/DHA and their officers, directors, agents and/or employees from any and all claims and liability and to fully and completely defend, indemnify and hold harmless IFFGD/DHA and their officers, directors, agents and/or employees against any and all claims and liability relating to your event or campaign. By creating content on DHA, including Courageous Stories and Personal Fundraising Campaign Pages, you agree to allow IFFGD/DHA to share your fundraising page, your story and description, and your image, in any and all publications, including but not limited to written publications, website entries, and social media.
On behalf of IFFGD and DHA, thank you very much for choosing to assist us by volunteering to raise funds. Through your generosity and hard work, you are directly making a difference for those suffering from functional GI and motility disorders by raising funds to research treatments and cures.
Volunteer fundraisers are not authorized agents of IFFGD/DHA. We will provide general educational materials if requested to assist you provided that you abide by the guidelines outlined below. IFFGD/DHA will not be held legally liable for any injury, disability, cost, loss, or damage to person, entity or property arising out of or in connection with your event.
DHA is not responsible for, and does not endorse, Content or any opinion, recommendation, or advice expressed by others in any posting made by other users on the Site. Under no circumstances shall DHA be held liable, directly or indirectly, for any loss or damage caused or alleged to have been caused to you in connection with any Content posted by a third party on the Site. We identify our Site supporters. (Individuals have the option of remaining anonymous.) Companies, foundations, and associations are identified by their legal or recognized name. These acknowledgments are in recognition of support and are non-promotional. DHA reserves the right to refuse funding support for any reason.
